We installed a Rheem 2 1/2 Ton Heat Pump in June 2014.  We have been very pleased with this product.  Our oil consumption has decreased.  In 2014 the cost of our oil for the year was just about $2400.  This year our oil cost at the present time is $1175 from January to July.  Our home was heated well during this cold winter and the air conditioning also has done an excellent job.

It is my pleasure to recommend Moyer Plumbling & Heating Company, Kutztown, PA with regard to Heating and Air Conditioning services.  It was one of at least eight companies that I contacted to give an estimate for replacement of my lightening damaged a/c system.  Even though I had previously dealt with four of the other companies, I chose Moyer Plumbing & Heating.
Steven Moyer came to the house to inspect the system.  He gave recommendations not only for the a/c replacement, but for updating it with a heat pump that could be backed up by our current oil-fired hot air furnace.  It was given with the intent of using less oil each year and saving us money in the long run.  He inspected the oil furnace, coil location, etc. as well.  Steve then sat at the kitchen table and explained specifically to my wife and I, the equipment he recommended (A/C unit, Heat Pump unit, thermostats, etc.), what the installation would entail, the amount of time for the equipment to come in, scheduling of installation, financing and rebates.
We chose Moyer Plumbing & Heating because Steve promised to be there and oversee the complete installation.  We trusted him.  Additionally, he answered all of our questions that first day, and all other questions thereafter.  Steve took time with us, and never rushed our decision.  When complications arose fitting new digital systems with our old analog systems from the furnace, Steve competently solved the issue.  He and his employee were respectful of us, our property, and cleaned up after the job.  Even after the installation was completed, whenever I called him with a question, problem, or issue with the new system, Steve got back to me immediately to solve it.  He always made me feel that my question or issue was important.  He is a reliable man of honesty and integrity.
I have used several other Heating & A/C companies over the years at my former business and at my home - Moyer has definitely raised the bar.  I would be hard-pressed to consider any other company for my heating and air conditioning needs, and recommend Moyer Plumbing & Heating Company, Kutztown, PA unreservedly.

Steve,
I wanted to take a minute to pass along to you a note of good word about the service I received from your company.  As I know that normally the only words passed on are generally a complaint that you took too long, cost too much, and any number of things.
Your company kind of bailed me out of a very bad situation while I was dealing with my In-laws rental property that has a small septic pump that had failed a great deal of time ago judging from the amount of "solids" that were in the tank.  My In-laws are John and Marsha C., and the live in Kutztown and I live in Lancaster.  They called me Thursday evening January 23rd and said they think the sewer line was frozen from the rental apartment on the back portion of their property as the tenant said sewage was coming out of the washing machine drain pipe.  I drove to Kutztown to discover that the pump was not running and after some further checking it apparently was not running for a long time.  So I came back home and started to look for someone to pump out the small 40 gal. tank.  Friday the 24th... I called a few places and all refused because according to one "it isn't worth our time to pump such a small tank", and most referred me to a plumber as they stated "they are the ones that handle such small jobs".  So I called your company and spoke with Michele, I was told your Techs were busy, that due to the emergent situation and the fact the tenant can not use the shower, toilet or basically run any water that she would see what can be done to help us out.  I was going to replace the pump but decided that I would rather not get into something and mess it up and have a far worse problem.  She was understanding and very helpful and informed me that all of your Techs were very busy due to the extreme cold and broken pipes but will see if she could get someone to stop over between jobs and help us out.  So after many phone calls and getting Millers (Sanitary Service) out to pump the tank and coordinating that with your Techs schedule, John W. shows up!
I wanted to let you know he was awesome... friendly, understanding, very efficient, pleasant and even took time to explain everything he was doing.  When all others said it was not possible your people came through and helped me out tremendously.
As I said, more times than not, the only words that get reported back are complaints and not compliments.  Please recognize John and Michele for their awesome customer service, and I do not want to leave out Kelly, but please pass along the gratitude and thanks to all those involved and recognize that you do have some fantastic employees working for you and they represent your company very well!
