Replaced old leaking 80 gallon water heater with a new 50 gallon water heater. Verified safe and proper operation of the water heater.

Replaced failed Honeywell thermostat for electric baseboard heat.

Replaced a faulty Inducer motor in a natural gas furnace. System is now back up and running.

Worked on an older New Yorker oil boiler. One of the radiator loops was airbound due to lack of pressure in the system. Attempted to refill system, but Autofeed had failed. Found excessive corrosion and buildup inside Autofeed valve. Replaced Autofeed and cleaned out inside of pipe as best I could. Autofeed was set a little high (20psi) adjusted it to 15psi and refilled boiler. Purged the airbound boiler loop and test ran boiler. Checked expansion tank to make sure it wasn’t waterlogged. 2 of the shutoff valves began leaking at the packing nuts, tightened them down and leaks stopped. Saw that the boiler drain valve was dripping some water - likely how the system lost pressure. System is now running correctly.

Replaced a leaking oil pump on a New Yorker boiler.

Worked on a 23 year old American Standard furnace. It is in good condition for its age and is running well. Blower capacitor is a bit weak.

Serviced a 17 year old Trane gas furnace, system is running well at this time. Inducer motor sounds like the bearings may be beginning to fail.

Serviced a K-2 combi boiler. System running well.

Completed system heating and safety inspection on Nordyne gas furnace. All components of the system are operating properly and safely for the upcoming winter.

Performing Backflow Prevention Assembly annual certification testing to ensure safe potable water to commercial building and protection of water supply.

Serviced 3 Lennox heat pumps and 2 gas furnaces. Systems are running well. One of the UV lights has failed and needs replacement.

Serviced a 6 year old K2 Combi boiler. There was a slight leak at the flow switch fitting, tightened it back down and stopped the leak.

No heat call on an oil-fired steam boiler. Found that the piping to the pressure switch had become filled with detritus, preventing proper operation. Cleaned it out and adjusted the settings for optimal performance.

Heat inspection on a miller furnace

Completed service on New Yorker oil boiler. Changed burner control to get the system to respond properly to hot water and heating demands. System working properly.

Fixed leaking water connection and verified that the connection wouldn’t leak under pressure of normal operation.

Serviced a 3 year old Ducane gas furnace. System is running well and in good condition.

Serviced a Ducane gas furnace. Everything running well.

Serviced two Thermo-Dynamics boilers. Found that one of the draft regulators had become unseated. Reseated it and adjusted the pins so it would not reoccur. Also found an unrelated leak on a domestic drain line. Both boilers running well.

I’d a maintenance on a Lennox Elite series heat pump. System is running properly and is in good condition.

Coil cleaning

Installed Daikin Fit heat pump to replace a 30 year old Bryant that was not working. Also added a supply to the basement.

I recently completed a job that involved cleaning on a boiler, replacing a burner nozzle, cleaning out the heat exchanger, inspecting the water, line, and cleaning out the bottom of the chimney base.

Clean and serviced a New Yorker oil boiler. Cleaned heat exchanger, and flue pipe. Replaced nozzle and oil filter and set electrodes. Adjusted intake air using combustion analysis. Confirmed proper ignition sequence.

Performed routine maintenance on a 6 year old Lennox Elite heat pump. Everything working properly. Changed filter.
